About our foodbank
Feeding local people in Hull since 2011.
Our foodbank is a project founded by a variety of local churches.
When we opened in November 2011, we were based at St Stephen’s Church on Springbank. We opened two days a week and very quickly saw demand grow.
In 2012, we moved to The Hub based at Jubilee Central. Having a city centre distribution site allows us to be easily found by people who have been referred to us and also those who kindly bring donated food.
In September 2018 we opened a food bank centre in East Hull, to help make the collection of food more convenient for clients in the local area.
