Hull Foodbank, part of the national network of Trussell Trust Foodbanks, focuses on providing emergency food support to individuals and families in need. While putting meals on the table is a temporary solution during a crisis, all of the individuals and families that we help to support have been referred to us by frontline care professionals, who work hard to solve the crisis. We strive to excel in feeding the hungry and providing a service to the many families and individuals who need our support in Hull.
What you can do
We are looking for local people to become members of Hull Foodbank’s FoodForce. As a member of the FoodForce you will actively support us in your church, workplace, school or community group. This fundraising booklet contains lots of ideas of things you can do to support us! You could also organise food collections in your organisation and suggest our volunteering opportunities to your friends and family. We would love to hear from you if you would become a member of Hull Foodbank’s FoodForce. We love working together so we can ask other members to advertise your plans and we will keep you informed with our ideas too! Together we CAN make a difference
Get your whole team involved! By having a collection box big enough for tins and packets, you and your team will be able to bring a tin to work. When it is full, let us know and we’ll collect.
Make work more fun
Whether you hold a ‘bad taste’ dress down day, or a black tie dress up day, gunge the boss or get them to run reception for a day, the possibilities are endless! Fundraising is fun and easy and we have a fundraising booklet full of ideas. Contact us if you don’t have a copy already!
Send your team to us for a day!
Could you give your team the opportunity to volunteer for a day in our distribution centre? This really helps us especially when we have a number of volunteers on holiday.
